UK Openings_FORTE_SJ!!

We have an urgent opening with our MNC client

Positions are based in Mumbai and would require immediate overseas travel to UK for 8-12+ months.

Positions : 5 Nos

Skills

Candidates need to be proficient in Forte 4GL :

1. The ideal candidate should have a technical graduate degree (BSEE/CS or equivalent) with 3- 7 years of experience

2. Expertise in Server side programming in Forte 4GL (now known as iPlanet UDS) is an absolute must.

3. Programming Experience with "TOOL" ( Transactional Object Oriented Language) is absolute must

4. The position is for developer/Sr. developer, therefore should be hands on.

5. Should be able to manage requirements, independently work with limited instructions or guidance.

6. Knowledge of Java/J2EE essential

7.Good understanding of Software development life cycle, sound software engineering practices is a must.

Must have (at least 5): .

1. Capabilities in "service objects" (create/start/stop the service objects)

2. Cross Partion messaging

3. Load Balancing / Failover

4. 'C' wrappering

5. Multithreading / Multitasking

6. Environment Console and Escript utility

7. Exp. in TOOL

8. Capability to work in Solaris Environment i.e. use the Vi editor, source

control, be able to use some basic commands / utilities etc

9. Some Oracle experience.
